How to Support Your Child Through

an Eating Disorder: A Course for Parents

Taylor Greibe Certified Eating Disorder Recovery Coach
Carolyn Costin Institute Certified Eating Disorder Coach

Hi! I'm Taylor...

After recovering from my own eating disorder, I knew it was my mission to serve others on their journey to recovery.

While working with with individuals, I started to recognize a gap. Parents felt lost, education was lacking, and they had no one to turn to throughout this process.

It became clear to me that they felt helpless. They had no clue what to do or how to support their child.

It was then that I decided to fill the gap and start providing reassurance, hope, and resources for parents to learn and feel confident in supporting their child's recovery.

So here I am, sharing my personal and professional experience with you in hopes to help you better understand your child, because you deserve support too. When everyone feels supported and understood, healing happens.

It’s time parents were taken off the back burner and instead integrated into the recovery process.

What Parents Have Said

"A life-changing journey for our family."

"As a parent of an honors pre-med college student, I

never thought our family would be facing ED. As a parent, I know how overwhelming it can feel

to help your child build a healthy relationship with food and exercise. But let me tell you—there

is hope, and it starts with Taylor."

"From the moment our daughter met Taylor, I knew she was the

right person to help us through this journey. We started to see the sparkle back in our

daughter’s eyes, her personality slowly coming back, and her laughter return. We felt inspired."

"Working with Taylor has been nothing short of transformation. Her compassionate guidance and practical strategies

made even the toughest days feel manageable."

"If you’re a parent searching for a way to empower your child and bring positivity to your family’s body image and food, take that first step in working with Taylor and give your child their life back by helping them

beat ED."

"I’ve always considered myself to be very observant and aware of my environment – my profession

demands it. However, when it came to ED sneaking up behind me/us, I was caught off-

guard and it could’ve cost my daughter her life, and subsequently, my life too. Enter Taylor."

"Early on, I knew nothing about ED and the war my daughter was about to fight. It didn’t take long to realize that Taylor was up for the fight, had “been there,

done that”, and wasn’t going to let my daughter fight alone, let alone lose for that matter."

"The war isn’t over, but ED is dying a slow, but certain death, thanks to Taylor."

"So, if you’re still wondering if Taylor is up for the fight and willing to save your loved one

– rest assured she is. Her professionalism, empathy, and compassion is nothing short of

amazing and life-saving."

What Their Child Has Said

"Taylor has given me so much, but the biggest gift she has given me has been my livelihood."

"After about a year of struggling with severe anorexia, I finally reached the point of accepting my situation and sought out the help I needed. I had reached a point in my life where simply surviving felt like a constant battle. Although I was alive, I hadn't been living for awhile. This is when I began seeing Taylor. For the first time, someone understood the things I felt, thought, and experienced."

"She was often able to explain my own thoughts to me when even I couldn't understand them."

"Not only did she help me better understand my situation, but she guided my loved ones through the entire journey as well. Where I fell short in explaining myself to them, Taylor was able to come in and translate for me. For the first time, I didn't feel alone."

"Because of Taylor, I am now the happiest I have ever been. I have been accepted into medical school, am growing my relationships, and making incredible memories. None of this would have been possible without her."

"I wish I had the words to describe how incredible Taylor is, but I know, regardless of how many times I tried to express it, I would fall short."
